The “30 under 30” initiative by Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) initiative celebrates young, dynamic Ukrainians worldwide
Ukrainians worldwide who are making a difference in their communities, supporting Ukraine, and shaping the future.
UWC organizations and community leaders can nominate individuals who are making a meaningful impact in their communities and demonstrating strong leadership skills. Nominees must submit a short application outlining their achievements and future goals. The 30 winners will be announced in August, 2025, during the UWC Summit in Kyiv.
Be of Ukrainian heritage or citizenship but have lived outside Ukraine for at least two years
Be under 30 as of August, 2025
Actively contribute to Ukrainian public life and promote a positive image of Ukraine abroad. Please note applicants currently residing in Ukraine are not eligible
Active Community Engagement – Involvement in civic initiatives, social entrepreneurship, and cultural or political activities that showcase leadership and commitment.
Support for Ukrainian Communities – Efforts to strengthen and develop Ukrainian communities abroad, preserve Ukrainian identity, and build diaspora networks.
Leadership & Innovation – Demonstrated leadership in advancing Ukrainian community initiatives, launching impactful projects, and driving positive change.
Diversity & Inclusion – Candidates must be under 30 and selected with a commitment to gender balance.
Ukrainian organizations within the UWC network, as well as other Ukrainian institutions abroad, can nominate candidates by submitting a form to 30under30@ukrainianworldcongress.org by July 20, 2025. Non-UWC-affiliated organizations must include a letter of support from their regional UWC Vice President.
